What we collect
Account info (email, handle, display name, avatar, city, vibe interests), usage data (bookings, RSVPs, check-ins, friend graph, plans, payments metadata), device data (push subscription endpoints), and location data you opt in to share via the Night Map.
What we don't collect
We do not run advertising trackers, sell your data, or share it with third parties for marketing. Payment slips upload to private storage and are visible only to the reviewing admin.
How we use it
To run the product: confirm RSVPs, show your friends’ activity, run the door QR scanner, send push notifications you opted into, and tier-gate events. Recommendations on /discover and /plan-my-night use your bookings and check-ins as taste signals — processed entirely on our server, no third-party AI.
Your rights (PDPA)
- Access + export: download every row we have about you at Settings → Account.
- Delete: wipe your account and all data instantly from the same page.
- Correct: profile editor lets you fix display name, city, and vibe interests at any time.
- Withdraw consent: push notifications and location sharing are opt-in and can be revoked from Settings.
Data retention
Active accounts: kept as long as you use BUZZ. Deleted accounts: removed immediately from the database. Backups roll off after 30 days. Check-in location pings auto-expire after 2 hours via pg_cron.
